This project uses digital image processing to detect dental caries. Image processing is very important in computer vision technology and image analysis. Dental caries are cases of teeth destruction. They occur due to bacterial infection which causes teeth demineralization and eventually, teeth destruction. Detecting caries using image processing and segmentation with efficiency is a challenge. There’s no single technique to manage every segmentation for different image types. In some cases, we need to adjust the computer vision to human vision. This project describes the usage of fuzzy c-means clustering technique in image segmentation. This helps us detect dental caries efficiently. This project was able to achieve results by using clustering technique of image segmentation to detect dental caries successfully. This project is very important to many people in the community. It helps doctors detect caries with more ease and better efficiency. It also helps patients to know if they have caries with needing to go to the dentist at first in case they can’t afford to. This aim of this project is to create an efficient way of detecting dental caries in areas which are not accessible to normal visual inspection in order to get better detection and lower the number of false negative cases.
يستخدم هذا المشروع معالجة الصور الرقمية للكشف عن تسوس الأسنان. تعد معالجة الصور مهمة جدًا في تقنية رؤية الكمبيوتر وتحليل الصور. تسوس الأسنان هي حالات تدمير الأسنان. تحدث بسبب العدوى البكتيرية التي تسبب إزالة المعادن في الأسنان ، وفي النهاية تدمير الأسنان. يمثل اكتشاف تسوس باستخدام معالجة الصور وتقسيمها بكفاءة تحديا. لا توجد تقنية واحدة لإدارة كل تجزئة لأنواع مختلفة من الصور. في بعض الحالات ، نحتاج إلى ضبط رؤية الكمبيوتر على الرؤية البشرية. يصف هذا المشروع استخدام تقنية التجميع المبنية على وسائل التجميع في تجزئة الصورة. هذا يساعدنا على اكتشاف تسوس الأسنان بكفاءة. كان هذا المشروع قادراً على تحقيق النتائج من خلال استخدام تقنية التجميع لتجزئة الصور للكشف عن تسوس الأسنان بنجاح. هذا المشروع مهم جدا لكثير من الناس في المجتمع. يساعد الأطباء على اكتشاف التسوس بمزيد من السهولة والكفاءة الأفضل. كما أنه يساعد المرضى على معرفة ما إذا كان لديهم تسوس مع الحاجة للذهاب إلى طبيب الأسنان في البداية في حال لم يتمكنوا من ذلك. يهدف هذا المشروع إلى إنشاء طريقة فعالة للكشف عن تسوس الأسنان في المناطق التي لا يمكن للفحص البصري العادي الوصول إليها من أجل الحصول على كشف أفضل وتقليل عدد الحالات السلبية الخاطئة.
