| Summary, etc. | A 40 year old patient with bad oral hygiene and severely destructed teeth complained from pain<br/>and loss of function and esthetics. The case was challenging from the very beginning due to the<br/>periodontal condition which resulted in severe bone loss especially in the upper posterior area<br/>bilaterally. After a thorough periodontal assessment and reviewing the CBCT, the hopeless and<br/>diseased teeth were removed and a strict oral hygiene regimen was followed to turn the patient into<br/>a stable periodontal condition. Restoration of decayed teeth and replacement of the missing ones<br/>followed the stabilization of the periodontium. The outcome exceeded the expectations. The<br/>treatment improved the patient's quality of life psychologically and functionally. |
