Summary, etc. | Endodontically treated teeth restoration may represent a challenge to any dentist as this<br/>kind of teeth are at higher risk of fracture or failure. What make these teeth vulnerable is the loss of tooth<br/>structure by fracture, caries or the restoration procedure itself as its responsible for significant loss of<br/>sound tooth structure. Therefor a more conservative method should be considered, endocrown restoration<br/>has the advantage of being conservative, simple with chair side CAD/CAM and low cost compared to the<br/>conventional post, core and full coverage crown. This in-vitro study was designed to compare the<br/>fracture resistance of endocrown restoration to the conventional crown retained with fiber post and<br/>composite core. |
