Dissertation note: This Study attempts to investigate the American-Japanese alliance and the import role it had played in the Security of Northeast Asia during the Period of the cold war as well as its endurance throughout the decades.
The "American Japanese Alliance" has pre-occupied the thoughts of a great number of academic political thinkers for many years. Although this Particular alliance has been dealt with in many studies and from Different perspectives, it is the aim of this study to show the changes that might have occurred to it in the last decades, especially after the cold war era.
Therefore, a period of more than fifty years will be covered (since the establishment of the alliance in the 1950s until the end of the 1990s).
