Online resources: Summary: In Egypt’s vision 2030, education will be future oriented and visionary in the face of technological innovations and changes. The future developments of the political, social, cultural and economic sectors will depend on the contributions of the students of our schools today. Therefore, examining the state of the education sector is of great importance. There have been noticeable improvements in Egypt in some aspects of education, such as enrollment levels, way of teaching, curriculum, implementing technology and other changes, but the educational quality and perception of parents are questionable. Thus, this paper provides an overview on parent’s perception of the improvements in the quality of governmental educational system in line with Egyptian vision 2030. The analysis used is largely focused on the elementary and pre-elementary levels by conducting qualitative research in the exploratory research and quantitative research using self-administrated questionnaires. Pointed out that parents have a neutral perception of the changes undertaken and the educational quality affects parent’s perception and the most factor affecting parent’s perception is the qualification of teachers. The constrains of the research was due to geographical and time limitation.
